Lockers at the MGB train station Zermatt

Lockers at the MGB train station Zermatt

The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn MGB and the company INTECH-ICS AG have been working for years on the new locker systems for public transport customers. The newer locker systems at the MGB Zermatt station have been located next to the existing lockers since 2020.

Customers can deposit their luggage - be it small or large bags - centrally at the station. The lockers are operated centrally via a pay station.

It accepts CHF coins and unlike the older lockers, payment by credit card is also possible. A big advantage is that this way the lockers are operated without a key. A receipt with a QR code is generated, which can be used to open the selected locker again.

In case of loss of a ticket, no lock needs to be exchanged. The MGB staff on site has the possibility to print a duplicate for a fee, so that the customer can redeem his luggage.

INTECH-ICS AG thanks you for the valued order.
