On 17.05.2022, the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn MGB took over the new locker system at Andermatt station.
Customers can now deposit their luggage - be it small or large bags - centrally at the station.

The compartments are operated centrally via a paypoint. It accepts CHF coins and the most common credit cards. A big advantage is that this way the lockers are operated without a key. A receipt with a barcode is generated, which can be used to release the selected locker. If a ticket is lost, there is no need to change the lock; instead, the MGB staff can print a duplicate for a fee so that the customer can redeem his or her luggage.
